The Lord is truly the Lord of my life: he leads me. Now He’s leading me to the Middle East. I was given the opportunity to join a trip heading there. I talked it over with the Lord and believe this is my next step; this is the light on my path.
There are two particular desires in my heart for as to why I’d want to go. 1st is to combat the spirit of fatherlessness that is over the middle east. 2nd is to gain skills and experience from this trip that could help me in my future goal of joining the Free Burma Rangers.
On this trip I will be certified in Green Cross which is recognized internationally, and also allows me treat mental trauma patients. I will also have a cultural training in order to be the most effective in a vastly different culture. The focus of this trip is aiding refugees. This trip was not planned around what has recently happened in the middle east. It’s so amazing how the Lord’s plan shines through the darkness. This was planned well before the U.S. pulled out of Afghanistan and now I’m sure refugees have sprouted everywhere.
I leave for Gainesville Georgia January 2nd for a month of training, then we leave for 3 months we’ll be going to a new country each month including Cypress, Jordan, and Turkey. I need to fundraise 8,900 dollars, please consider and also talk to the Lord on whether or not you should support me whether it be through direct donation, prayer or spreading this blog. I Nick Lam will be going to the Middle East to proclaim the good news to the poor, to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free. Will you partner with me in this journey?
